Redwood Rangers
Tradition. Rivalry. Ranger Pride.
Located in the heart of Visalia, CA, Redwood High School Football is one of the Central Section’s most respected programs. Known for its deep-rooted traditions, passionate fanbase, and iconic rivalry with Mt. Whitney in the annual Cowhide Game, Redwood Football has been a pillar of the local sports community since the 1950s.
The Rangers have consistently competed for league titles and playoff success, producing generations of standout athletes and unforgettable Friday night moments. The Cowhide Game — played for a real stamped cowhide trophy — is one of the most historic high school rivalries in the state, with Redwood holding the edge in the all-time series.
Whether it’s competing under the lights or representing Visalia with pride, the Rangers’ legacy lives on through every player who’s worn the Blue.
