From the moment the Stockton Thunder took the ice in 2005, they ignited a passion for professional hockey in California's Central Valley. With a loyal fanbase, electric atmosphere, and unforgettable moments at Stockton Arena, the Thunder quickly became one of the ECHL's premier franchises.

During their original run, the Thunder made eight Kelly Cup Playoff appearances, hosted the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game, and captured the Western Conference Championship on their way to the 2013 Kelly Cup Finals. Through fierce rivalries and countless memorable nights, the Thunder built a legacy that united the 209 and inspired generations of hockey fans.

Now, Thunder hockey returns.
